Area Sales Manager for Portugal

for its Titleist & FJ brands Reporting directly to the FJ Brand Manager and the Titleist Field Sales Manager

You are responsible for developing the sales of the Titleist (balls, clubs, bags and accessories) and FJ products (shoes, apparel, gloves, socks and accessories) in Portugal.

Accordingly, your mission will be:
  • Developing and growing sales through a network of on-course and off-course retailers (golf shops, pro-shops, golf specialty stores, multi-brands sporting goods stores)
  • Communicating the Company Sales Policy and making sure it is properly implemented and applied
  • Communicating the Company Marketing Policy and optimizing merchandising at retail
  • Attending several sales meeting annually
  • Ongoing reporting to senior management
  • Making sure individual performances evolve according to identified annual targets
  • Analyzing and reporting all trade and market information (competitive intelligence, market analysis, practices) obtained from the field
The candidate should have the following profile:
  • A College degree (Bachelor or equivalent)
  • Selling Skills
  • Ideally a few years of experience in a retail environmen
  • An excellent level of English - reading, writing and speaking (used on a daily basis)
  • Fluent in Portugese (native tongue)
  • Have proficient IT skills (Microsoft Office)
  • Golfer
  • Organised and independent, yet working under supervision and respective brand managers
  • Living in Algarve area
  • Permanent contract, company car, business tools & attractive conditions.
