If you currently use a Titleist Premium Carry or Carry Bag we’d love your thoughts.
In a short response, please let us know what you like most about your bag, what (if anything) you’d improve, and which features are most important to you when choosing a carry bag.

And if you don't use one, why not?

This would not be TT without a little thank you. If you drop an answer below, your name will be put into a prize draw to win some winter swag to get you through these early cold months of 2026!

Thanks in advance — your feedback really helps shape what comes next.

It's an interesting one Will, I don't use one myself and don't think I ever will. I do have a Sunday / pencil bag that I sometimes use if I am going to the putting green / short game area and want to bring a few different putters and wedges along.

I always see people mention that these are great bags for the winter, lighter etc and I understand that everyone's carrying capabilities are different / some people reduce the amount of clubs in their bag during the winter due to carrying but for me, in the conditions my local courses are during the winter (wet and muddy) I don't see it as a good winter option. Looking at the picture above, more of the bag, not just the base, is in contact with the ground, I look at that and think if i was using it at my course recently it would be covered in mud, whereas the players 4, its just the solid plastic base that gets muddy and not the bag itself.

I'm sure that they are a good option for the summer months for some golfers, but again, I'm not one for removing clubs to reduce weight, or just pop out for a few holes with a half set or something.

I should add I know they are designed for 14 clubs and I have had 14 clubs in a sunday / pencil bag before, but trying to get a club out and 5 others coming with it drove me mad!
  3. I had one TT , it looked fantastic and the design was excellent.
However it wasn't robust , the zip sealing to the bag failed and the material at the join to the base was cut from a sharp shard on the base.
This rendered the bag unusable after 14 months of admittedly heavy use.
I'd buy another if the manufacture was improved.
  4. Carry bags light and easy to carry, good storage space.
To easy to fill with extra stuff you don’t need, so through no fault of Titleist, bag can become heavy

Am I reading this as anyone who uses a Titleist carry bag?

Have had carbon players carry bag for two years. Great lightweight bag and plenty of pocket space.
Improvements- definitely legs. Mine don’t fold back up fully and would also have stops on bottom to stop bag legs slipping open when on a tiled house floor. Also the vlub protection has worn fully through on two off 5 club spaces

    Hi Will and TT team.
I use a carry back and have done for many years mainly through winter months, but also if I go away on a golf trip.
Weight is key factor when travelling and also during winter months carrying for 18 holes can be a bit of slog particularly when its wet.
I'm currently using the Player 4 Plus Team Titleist bag and it works great, I have had a couple and they have lasted well. only issues I find is the legs, the clip that holds them and springs back up, can be a little loose and the legs don't always go completely up against the bag.
The other and I've noticed this more recently is the collar, you get bag rub on the shafts, which wears through, which isn't great considering how much a set of GT's are.
Apart from that zips have always been fine, water bottles fit fine and the large side pocket I use for a mat that we use through winter.
Next one I think will be a Staydry, but would love to see a TT version of it
    Thank you.
PS happy to be a tester of any new products!!!

I have the Premium StaDry carry (& trolley) bag. For the carry bag I’m really happy with the straps and overall weight. It’s not the lightest but I don’t feel it’s so heavy that I’m struggling at the end of the round. The straps have held their padding well even though it’s about 4 years old now.
The rain hood is perhaps a minor gripe. A bit fiddly to get on and just having a single Velcro closure strip means it’s not always easy to keep rain out of the very wide opening.
Umbrellas are always a pain on carry bags and it’s no different here.
Quality of materials and zips have been fine and I have enough pocket space for all my stuff.

Currently using the new hybrid carry bag, love the extra long pocket, stable legs and zips. It is now my only bag so have used on a trolley as well and it performs perfectly. Only minor issue is the weight but that can't be helped to incorporate all the design features. Would highly recommend this bag

    Afternoon TT.

So as much as I love the look of the premium cart and stand bags costing is my factor.

The products look fantastic, the quality is also very good and to the eye it really stands out.

I know there has been issues in the past with Zip issue but it would put me off buying one if I was in the market for one and also financial in a position to do so.

I think the black / White look was a really good transition from black / Red but would probably agree with most that both colours are really really nice.

I currently use a Stydry premium car bag 14 way divide and it’s a lot lighter when on the trolley.

I always looked at the premium tour bag and thought it was too bulky for the average golfer so when I saw you released a mid-size that was also really really appealing.

Regarding the premium stand bag again as nice as it looks, I could only imagine it’s quite heavier for someone that might want to carry even though I know it fits onto a trolley, which gives you the best of both worlds.

I’m never saying I wouldn’t own one of these 3 bags that are on the market because it gives you that feeling of a classy look out on the golf course.

Overall, the bags of quality and look fantastic.

    Long live the premium series

    Hi Will and Gear Team,

I was fortunate to win a premium Carry Bag at the TT Invitational at Burnham and Berrow last year. Personally it's not a bag I would have bought for myself as I don't usually carry, and with the cold and wet there's usually a few extras needed on the course so my mid-size cart or Players 5 StaDry are most suitable. We're lucky as carry only doesn't happen very often at my course.

The premium will probably get use in the summer for trips to the practice area when a full set isn't required.

The quality of the bag looks good with decent storage for light clothing and drink, and the usual adjustable straps and padding that make carrying more comfortable.

As per the picture from a few years back I had an addiction to titleist bags. lol.

I currently use the links legend bag. I also have a premium tour bag that I love.

I think the quality of the premium bags can clearly be seen.

I previously had the premium pencil bags and loved them too

The only issue I ever have has is the left strap always twists at the tip where it meets the point all 4 straps connect. But that’s on all the bags.

Look forward to seeing the new product as it lands.

    Hi TT,
I'm currently gaming the Titleist Players 4 Plus StaDry in Dorado Blue which is my favourite this about this bag as it happens to be my favouriute colour :-)

Aside from that, this particular bag has been more durable than some other Titleist carry bags I've had. The zips seem to be improved and its the most waterproof material I've seem having been caught in some rain this winter. There a plenty of pockets, all cleverly laid out with access to the ones you need whilst walking, the double straps are briolliant and extremly durable and there is even a handy hidden access to the bottom of the bag for when I drop my pencil in my bag AGAIN!

The only area for improvement I could ask for is the internal divide system. The middle row (for me irons 3-8) can be awkrard to get back in sometimes but maybe that's just me.

    Happy golfing!
  14. I use a cart bag, at my age I need any help I can get. Awaiting for tour series premium cart stadry to be back in stock.
Not very helpful to your question though.

  15. Currently I dont have a carry bag as I always use a trolley, I use the premium stadry . However if I was to carry, I would get the matching one to the trolley bag.

The reason for this is i like the design and also the waterproof outer.

Not sure what else to say really!

    Hi Will,

I'm fortunate to have several bags and will use one depending on course and conditions.

Of the carry bags, I use a Sta Dry, Players 4 carbon, an original Linkmaster, and will shortly be adding a Premium Carry (thanks for the heads up). Obviously the quality of the Linkmaster sets it apart.

But of the others, the points raised by others apply for me too. Weight is key and if carrying I don't want it to be too heavy so always look at the lighter bags, which may or may not impact the quality of the components.

The rubber ends on the legs, often don't last long and could really do with improving. The rainhoods aren't very waterproof and a shower can often render them useless. The StaDry ones are good but why can't the same hood be used on all the bags.

Overall though they're good quality bags and as I swap between them a lot, I like the fact that the same pockets are usually in the same place, no matter the bag. The small (valuables) pocket for your phone, keys, wallet etc. is usually lined to protect the gear which is great but if it could somehow be waterproof as well, then that would be perfect.

I see other posts about other bags, so can offer my opinions.

I have 2 carry bags, players 4 stadry and players 5 stadry. The players 4 is mega, but the top just a little bit too small for 14 clubs. Especially if you have bigger grips and a mallet putter.

The players 5 stadry is everything I would want in a bag, aside from 2 things. The most annoying are the legs. They bounce around when walking, don’t feel overly solid at times and I know a few other folks with titleist bags where the leg droop is a big thing. I notice there is a guy on eBay selling a new leg connector thing you can attach which solves it; but it should be solved at factory. The legs are the serious pain point.

The other small thing, is the location of the Velcro patch for gloves. Putting it under the carry handle is pretty out of the way. If it was on the small side pocket so it can be easily grabbed whilst walking; it would be ideal.

Aside from those two, the bag is as close to perfect as I could want. I’m sure there may be some other very small things; but they are the ones that stick out immediately

    Hi Will and TT,

I currently use the StaDry Hybrid 14-way as my main bag year-round. It’s a great all-rounder for UK conditions and works well both carrying and on a push trolley, especially when the weather turns.

I’m now looking at an alternate bag to use specifically for carrying days, where a lighter and less bulky setup makes carrying 18 holes more comfortable. I also travel a few times a year, so a carry bag that’s a bit more compact and easier to fit into a travel cover is important.

The key things I look for in a carry bag are sensible weight, good 14-club organisation to minimise tangling and shaft rub, decent pocket space for the usual items (drink, extra layers, waterproof hood, snacks), some level of weather resistance, and full-length stand legs so the bag stays off the ground and is easy to drop down and pick up without towels or accessories dragging in the mud.

I’ve considered Sunday or pencil bags, but for typical UK conditions, particularly in choppy weather, they feel too minimal. From what I've seen, they tend to sit more of the bag on wet ground, offer limited organisation, and can become frustrating when carrying a full set of 14 clubs, so I’d always lean towards a more well-rounded stand bag instead.

Looking forward to seeing what’s released this year!

    Thanks,
    Gianni F

    Hi Will

I currently can only use a buggy due to health reasons but have long preferred a Tour Bag/Midsze or the Stadry Cart Bag.

Looking forward to getting out on the course from March 2026!

  20. I use a lTitleist Linos Masters. Love the simple but classic design, also the premium materials used a beautiful.

Nothing to fault on this bag, I love it
  21. I’m on my 4th Titleist carry bag - the last three being sta dry 4s with my latest being bought in the middle of 2025.

I play c 50 rounds a year and always carry.

I think the bags are pretty well made, reasonably light enough yet resilient. I haven’t had any of the zip problems I know users have complained about over the years and the straps are definitely more comfortable in recent editions.

In general, each bag has evolved to the better over time. For example my prior sta dry had a clear design fault in it had a seam just where it rubs against the hip - in 12 months, it wore through on that seam to leave a large open gash down the side of the bag. In my new one, the seam has been moved. I have suffered with the loss of the rubber feet on my prior bags. That being said, the latest bag does show some limited wear on the hip padding (and I note I have worn holes in two pairs of shorts and a pair of my golf trousers). I think the storage is good - I can squeeze in all I need for winter golf. I do carry 14 clubs and there can be a little bit of clubs being jammed occasionally but quite rare.

The feature I do miss from a previous bag (4 Up from memory) was the clip inside the valuables pocket as it was great to be able to clip my keys in and be very confident they couldn’t accidentally fall out if I failed to zip it shut properly or if I was accessing the pocket to retrieve my phone. I would love an innovation to make it easier and quicker to remove and replace a golf umbrella as that is also a pain on a showery day.

The fact I am on my 4th bag in a row mean my quibbles are minor and I am a happy user of Titleist carry bags.
