Am not one that changes Drivers and Fairways every cycle unless my fitter and I see real progress. Was playing TSI2s and did make the move to the new GT2s recently (as noted above) with my Driver and added the Fairway 15* Wednesday. Am really impressed with the GTs.

I normally don’t remark how much an equipment change has impacted my game. Fighting age, the goal is to maintain the same handicap.

So Titleist is going to have to go some to get me to switch my 2023 T200’s and TSR-1 hybrids. I still can’t read a green well, but I have more fun getting on the greens. I’m definitely gaining strokes tee to green.

Years ago I got fit for irons by a club professional that was responsible for my handicap dropping 4-5 points quickly. Two degrees upright with an additional 1.5” on my irons made a big difference. I have played those specs since. Recently changing to a Cart 15 bag has made life more enjoyable too. More pockets and more room are great.

Got fitted for the GT Fairway 7 wood and can't wait to add it to my bag. The way the ball comes off the face, its going to be a gamechanger for me for sure!!!!!
  5. Getting fit for your equipment in general is one of the best moves you can make.

With that said, I bought a few putters this offseason I liked to have extended time trying them out. I have dialed in a putter that just rolls straight time after time. Really crazy seeing how the wrong putter will result in consistent pushes / pulls etc. this has me really excited for the season.

Wedges 100%. Got fitted for wedges by a certified Titleist professional and was by far the best investment I have made so far.

Mine has to be simple but most effective.

Ball Fitting - Getting what works for me rather than what i think i should be using
Club Fitting - Use of Combo Set - GAME CHANGER

A Putter fitting was the best thing I ever done and should have done it sooner. If your going to get fit for Drivers, Irons and everything else why not get fitted for the club you hit most in the bag? Also when I miss a putt I cant blame the club no more.

Mine was coming back to a Titleist driver. I moved away after the TSI models and went with another brand. It was fine but I missed the sound and the confidence I had with the Titleist drivers. I just went back to a TSR 3 and love it!

Had a friend gave me a Cobra 20* FW last year because it’s probably the best I had ever hit when he let me try it, couple of months later he let me have it. A few months later I came across a Titleist 917F2 in 16.5* that is the best second shot club ever for me, have never been able to hit a 3W. Par 5’s have always been my worse holes, not so much anymore. The 4W has very much improved my game.
  11. I upgraded my driver and honestly couldn't really tell a difference at first. Once I figured out that technique and consistency are the real key to playing good golf I swapped back and forth for a while and picked the one that just felt like it had a more natural feel through the swing. Also I believe getting fitted for grips and the right ball for your style make more of a difference in the game than the clubs.

    Hey fellow golfers,

I’m curious—what’s the best golf equipment upgrade you’ve made, and how did it impact your game?

It could be a new driver that added yards to your tee shots, a putter that finally helped you sink those tricky putts, or even a ball change that improved your consistency.

Would love to hear your experiences! What upgrade made the biggest difference for you?

I left Titleist looking for distance from png. That lasted 6 years and I am back to the best clubs ever, TITLEIST. I changed fo the GT2 woods and 350 irons. Immediately felt the distance and scores are dropping
    I don't know what I was thinking!!!

Any Titleist change or upgrade is a great move. Been doing it for 40 years and never have been disappointed..

A little over two years ago I switched from a bag full of png clubs to a bag full of Titleist clubs. Best equipment decision I’ve ever made. The TSR1s in the top of my bag really have helped, given my slowing swing speed. The T350 irons have been great and match my swing well. Still playing Hogan wedges.

Hogan wedges were classics. Great wedges produced in my old home town of Fort Worth TX. That said, might be time to set them in your collectors spot and give the Vokey’s a try. The flexibility of so many loft and grind selections along with multiple finishes make them a great addition to your bag. There is a real good reason you see them in almost every tour bag.

I think the one that has made the biggest impact on my own game was moving to the ProV1 full time two years ago. The consistency of flight and knowing what the ball is going to do has been a huge confidence booster. Additionally, putting a good range finder in the bag instead of solely relying on GPS for yardages has been amazing. The ability to shoot hazards and targets has helped me avoid a lot of trouble, plus you look super cool lazing a 12' putt.
