Just upgraded my PW from the T100 to the Vokey and love it. I had a Titleist fitting and ended up with a blended set of T series irons with Project X 6.5 shafts. I had that same shaft installed in the new Vokey PW and love how it feels. My question is should I go with the Project X wedge flex or would the stock Titleist wedge flex shaft be fine for my other wedges? I am planning on installing the Project X 6.5 in my gap wedge but want something a bit softer in the 54 and 58 wedges. Anyone have experience with both the wedge flex and Project X wedge flex shafts that can give me some feedback? thanks

  2. Very similar story here and also curious on recommendations of going to the project X wedge shafts in my 60 and 56. I tend to hit them full swings as well as green side/out of bunkers. Or do I just stick with the stock s200 shafts. Thanks in advance

I picked up a Wedgeworks 44F used and the shaft installed is an NSPro950 S. I liked it so much I had my 620CB 8 iron reshafted. I returned my 46-10 and picked up a GT2 18 fairway for $90 additional. Other than that, the other wedges are "Wedgeflex"
  4. This will likely depend on your swing speed and what weight/feel you want from your wedges. I play Nippon NS Pro Modus 3 Tour 130 shafts in my vokeys but i have a fast swing and a wedge flex shaft isn't stable enough for me.
Your best bet is to go to a fitter and hit some shots in a simulator to see if there is a benefit one way or the other.

    I've hit Project X 5.5 and 6.0. It is a lighter shaft at 115g. I have a 6.0 on my Phil 64 and a lightweight S300 on a local brand 58 wedge..

I like the NSPro950/GH S for my 8 iron, 44F and 46-10F and pick up 7 yards vs the stock wedge flex. My 8 iron gained 5 yards going from a Project X 6.0 LZ to the NSPro950 The I'm thinking about reshafting the 52-12 to 105g as a transition for the 58/12 local and the PM Grind 64.
