  1. Hey guys. Newbie here. Am currently using sm6 wedges 50,54 and 58.

I am posting this topic to see if anyone finds it necessary to change wedge shafts. I changed it to a FST HIREV in 50 54, and tour issue X100 in 58. I tried sm6 the other day with stock shaft and i thought i preferred the heavier feel. So, what do you guys recommed?

My 716 AP1s have XP105 S300 shafts and that is what I have in my SM6 wedges. Same set up + 1/2 inches and 2* flat. Consistency. =)

I use the same shafts as my irons up to 50* in the wedges.
    With the SM6 54* / 58* I like the stock shaft.

I currently play the KBS C-Taper stiff in my T-MB irons. I went with the same in my wedges but play them a little heavier at stiff +. I like having the consistent feel across all my irons.

I've always found the DG S400 to be a phenomenal wedge shaft for someone wanting a lower flight without excessive stiffness - I was ballooning the wedge flex (DG S200) in my old 54*, and when I switched to the S400 in a new wedge I was able to see a more penetrating trajectory. I played S400s even when I had KBS Tour shafts in my irons.
