Every Titleist golf ball is designed by one R&D team with one mission, to help you shoot lower scores. That's the difference between a golf ball and the #1 ball in golf.

Find the best ball for your game.
What could you do with the best combination of flight, spin and feel?

    Evening all.

One thing I learnt after a a golf ball virtual fitting consultation was once I found the right ball for my game, it was never to change it.

I hovered between AVX PRO V1 & PROV1 X , and even though I like There charismatics to all three of these Balls I truly believe Pro V1 is the right ball for my game.

I’ve been playing it for a number of years now and will never change.

Definitely worth getting fitted for the right ball for your swing.
It’s amazing the wee changes help so much to lowering scores. ️‍♂️

Definitely recommend a ball fitting. I use the Pro v1x, prior to my fitting I thought my swing speed was too slow for it. Turns out it wasn’t, I never would have gone for the x.

I had a ball fitting last year which confirmed (thankfully!) that the ball I have been playing for years, Pro V, is the best ball for my game.

It was really interesting to see the other balls do what they say, ie X flew higher and spun more (visual and Trackman numbers) for me.

I would recommend having a ball fitting to everyone!

I didn’t realise just how much difference there could be in golf ball performance until we did a quick comparison between the Pro V1 and Pro V1x ahead of my club fitting at the St Ives fitting centre last summer. As a mid-handicapper, I honestly didn’t expect it to be something I’d notice that much.

Seeing the numbers side by side was really eye-opening - the differences were far more noticeable than I’d anticipated, particularly on launch angles and spin rates.

I also had a great chat with the specialists at the Team Titleist day at Little Aston last year, which definitely got me thinking. I could probably do with looking at booking a full ball fitting at some point this year to properly dial things in. All very fun stuff!

I would always recommend a ball fitting, it's the one piece of equipment you use on every shot. I had a fitting and was told ProV1.
I always used ProV1 so all good, but I have tried X and found my missed shots were far worse with the X.
Since a tour fitting last year I was advised to try left dash and wow, better height for me and tighter dispersion due to lower spin, get a little more distance too. Only wish the Left Dash would come in yellow!

I would also recommend have a ball fitting. I played the Pro V1 for many years and loved the feel and feedback from the ball, so I was sure it was the right ball for me. That changed after a fitting at the start of last year, as I was a little shocked when I came out with the left dash.

I ended up putting it in play for the season. It does have a firmer feel but I soon got used to that and it definitely seemed to perform better for me.

Looking forward to trying the new 2026 left dash.
