    Always love Pinehurst. Great resort and courses. Friendly people and awesome food. Can drive up there in about three hours and do not have to walk the courses.

    For the food junkee and as an added treat, there is a Buc-ees on the way.in Florence, plus Youngs Premium Foods. Best Pecan products in the state. Always pick up pecan pies and chocolate cover pecans when I'm there. A pecan lover's paradise. Always order my holiday pies from them.

    Have been blessed to have been able to play a lot of great courses in North America and Ireland. Now at my age, staying closed to home. Just a good ole country boy at heart. My playing group said they are throwing me an 80th BD party in September. Oatmeal and Geritol. Hakuna matata.

    Torrey Pines has been on my list for years. I finally got to play the North and South course this week. I also went up to Encinitas and got to visit the Scotty Cameron Gallery. Two items off my bucket list in one week. Life is good!!
