  1. I was doing an open house in Port Colborne on June 27th and had planned to go directly to Muskoka from there to help relatives with a dock repair in the afternoon of the 28th and 29th; so I did not have my golf clubs with me and wasn't planning on playing at all. I got a call from Matt (my playing partner) while in route to Port Colborne wondering if I wanted to play a round the morning of the 28th at Muskoka Highlands. I said that I didn't have clubs and would have to call my wife Lyn to bring them north with her. She said yes and went to the trouble of adding them to an already full vehicle. Teed off at 7:42 with Matt, Josh (paired with us by the club) and Odin (Matt's dog). On the hole number 13 Matt played first and hit his tee shot to about 8 feet (as you can see in the picture). I was next... hit a gap wedge past the pin and spun my Pro v1 back for my hole in one. Kinda cool since I wasn't planning on playing this day!
