So there I was, staring at about 155 yards, Par 3 hole #5 at the Falcon golf course on Cape Cod Massachusetts. Beautiful start to the day. A morning start light breeze at best.. great day for our league play. Funny so I normally hit this hole hard left but for some reason I thought I would line up more right to compensate staying away from the bunker.. I was very much relaxed said “here we go”..It felt great off the club, looked at by friend to my left and said “I got a hold of that one “ my other friend said never mind that it’s heading pin high.. All I remember is hitting it but I never saw it fall in however my friends reminded me that the ball is in the hole! Walked up and sure enough the ball was resting at the bottom of the cup! Truly a memorable experience, one that I will never forget. Thank you for allowing me to share this story with you all.
