On May 11 , 2026 at Lincoln Country Club I made a hole-in-one on hole #2 by hitting an 8 iron about 130 yards while playing with a couple of senior buddies. It was a beautiful day and this was a very rare and welcome event ; however I soon returned to my too familiar pattern of playing Jekyll / Hyde golf. The bag tag will remind me to remain positive as I play a game previously defined as " an endless series of tragedies obscured by the occasional miracle " .
