On April 12th at my club Seven Oaks CC north of Pittsburgh I experienced my second hole in one during our weekly Sunday morning round. My first was in 2021 on our 8th hole using a Titleist 515 & Pro V-1. So coming off of three putting 8,9 & 10 this particular round I heading down the path to our 11th hole not feeling good. We arrived at the 11th tee playing 149 yards that day and with my Titleist T200 8 iron I teed up my Pro V-1 took my swing and two short bounces later it happened. A few hollers, high fives, chest bumps and my good friend saying "let me check with my range finder" was part of the great experience. Our second group pulling up to 10 green behind us were cheering as were members on the 12th tee over looking the 11th green. Our hole in one local rule is that the group receives a free shirt from the pro shop. Our normal chant on all of our par 3's when someone strikes it well is "shirts" well this time it happened! Two weeks later at our first event of the year I had no issue with supplying a keg for the guys! I want to acknowledge my Sunday playing partners that day; Slim, Jams & Mr. Bell and our 2nd group my brother Rich, Joe K, and Rich & Stevie Springer.
