shotgun start at hidden Valley golf club beautiful day beautiful course short part three and an eight iron in hand. In all honesty, it was a bad shot a high scoop eight iron. It was a front pin and the green sloped back to front. Ball landed short of the pin, rolled up the hill, came back down and slow slowly trickled. We all thought it stopped an inch from the hole so I turned around ready to make a tap in birdie when one of my friends screamed “The ball is gone”. I turn around and there’s no ball in sight. It was a bit anti-climactic, but a hole-in-one is a hole in one.
