Our local country club, Wilson Country Club, holds a golf program called Operation 36 where the kids play tournament style golf from various yardages working back to the tee boxes. He started at 25 then to 50 and the weekend where he was hitting from 100 yards out with the goal of going 36 or below through nine, on the ninth hole he does something amazing by holing out. Needless to say he ended up shooting a 32 and passed. It’s a great program for young golfers and doing that in front of adults and his peers was one of the most magical and memorable moments I got to enjoy with my son.
