I recently had my first hole in one after 33 years playing as a low handicap, on the 5th at Brockenhurst Manor with a 6-iron (a course I’ve played twice in 25 years).
By pure coincidence my Dad had his first and only hole in one after 48 years of golf on the same hole, also with a 6-iron.
It must run in the family as Dad’s brother also had his first hole in one on the 12th at Brokenhurst, again despite not being a member.
All using Titleist balls of course.
