I live in Australia and I have bought a set of left hand 695 CB's with serial numbers on all of the iron hosels, I believe this makes them a custom set. How do I find out the specifications of the irons?

Hi Craig,
Email SalesAUS@acushnetgolf.com and they should be able to help you.

We did stamp a T on the limited edition models and they came in a wooden display box - as far as we know - they were not have a serial number stamped on them.

Cathi, I'm wondering if you might direct me to where I can find out a little more about my old set of Titleist clubs.(I've already been to the archive page). After 30 years of use, I'm retiring my old set. They are forged Titleist tour model with the serial number 13651.(on every club) I believe I bought them in 1982 but am not quite sure. The set came with 3 - 9, 49 & 54 degree wedges and a 59 degree sand wedge. The Driver, 3 wood and 5 wood are of persimmon wood. I guess I'm getting a little nostalgic and was trying to find a little history on them. Any help would be appreciated.
Hi Duane, The 82 model had a squared off toe model with no forged markings and a Rounded toe with "rounded" stamped on the toe. In 83, it had Squared on the squared model and the Rounded toe had no markings. Unfortunately, the number you have is a batch number simply used to keep the set together while they were building. There were no specs recorded. There was also a limited edition Tour model called the 821 that had 821 stamped on the toe that came out in 1983.
At the same time that the limited edition 821's came out, the Titleist Tour Model 821 woods came out. Here is the description that we have.
These are clubs of uncompormising quality. Each Tour Model 821 begins with a classic pear-shaped club head fashioned from hand-selected oil-hardened persimmon. The head is through-bored, fitted with a special maroon phenolic insert backed with brass for superior feel, and then completed with a lustrous pecan finish. It is available in a 1,3,4,5 and a Jumbo Driver.
