AP1 4i vs. AP3 4i

    With 1 Degree of loft separating them, has anyone hit these side by side yet? Have the AP3 4i in my blended set, but thinking of trying out the AP1 almost as a Hybrid replacement if I can get the gaps somewhat in line.

    Even though the 7 iron in the AP3 is 31 degrees and the AP1 is 30 degrees I actually hit the AP3 about 3-5 yards longer than the AP1 at my fitting. If you're RH, if you can find a Titleist fitting day where they would have the 3 and 4 irons in both, you may want to compare. I wouldn't assume the AP1 for the 4 iron will be longer than the AP3 or to replace a hybrid for the same place in the bag.
