It's my understand that in the A1 setting, the face angle of the 915 drivers was 0.5" open. Is this still true with the 917 line and is it the case with both the D2 and D3?

I also heard the D2 is slightly more draw bias. If that's true, if both have the same face angle, is it the internal weighting that causes that? Thanks!

  2. Hi Christopher,

The standard face angle for all Titleist metals in the neutral setting is .5° open.

The CG in D2 is slightly further back which allows the player the turn the ball over with greater ease as a result of enhanced gear effect. There is not draw bias weighting in the club head unless the player has the CG weight installed in the draw position.

    Hope this helps.
