    Hi Cathy,

    Scott here, I was hoping you can help me. Yesterday I was playing in a tournament and my 716MB 4 iron snapped off from taking a shot in the fairway. The shaft broke off inside the hosel. I have never had this happened before. I have pictures to send also, The shaft broke off in side the hosel just below the ferrule. I just got this set back in April of this year and dont understand how this could have happened. Please help, Thank you.

    Hi Scott, I'm sorry to hear about your 4 iron. This is something that should be covered under Warranty. Please take both parts - the shaft as well as the head back to your pro shop and have them contact the Warranty/Repair department. They can ask for a shipping label so it won't take as long to get here and once they receive it, they will be able to confirm and repair as soon as possible. Keep in mind we are closed for the Thanksgiving holiday next Thursday and Friday so you will want to have it called in first thing on Monday.

    I too had a shaft snap this year for the first time in 35 years of playing. Hitting a 7 iron from a good lie in the fairway. It snapped about 3inches above the hosel. This was a set of 716 AP2's obviously new this year. I was on vacation in Orlando so I ran to the PGA store, purchased a new shaft and replaced it when I got back home. This was in June. No issues with any shafts since that one.
