    Hello Titleist Personal,

    I ordered a custom set of the 716 AP1 through Golfsmith over three weeks ago. I can't tell you how excited I am to play this new set given how great they felt during my fitting. Originally Golfsmith indicated a 10 day time frame. In reaching out to them they told me Titleist is far behind in fulfilling orders and that they have no estimated date of shipment. Given my excitement to get my hands on my new set and the Chicago winter approaching I was hoping you could provide a frame of reference on how long it generally takes for custom orders to be fulfilled.

    It depends on what you ordered. If all of the heads/shaft/grips are in stock it take 3-5 days to build your clubs. Then, depending on where you are having them shipped to it can be another 5-7 days to get them.

    I don't know how Golfsmith places their orders. They may have a central ordering system where all of the stores call the orders into a main office which then places the order with Titleist. This could be part of the delay if this is how they operate. I would also check back with the store to see if they have actually placed the order, given the bankruptcy news this week.
