    I was talking to our club pro, asked if he had a 915 driver demo for me to try out. He suggested I wait for the 917. He is going to be fitted for one pretty soon, said he has heard really great things about this club. He is a Titleist guy. Told me the club is coming out to the public on September 17.

    Lots of rumor's circling around about the 917. A couple of people I talked to reported 8-10 mph ball speed gains - that's 20+ yards!!

    Personally, I haven't hit it but plan on giving them a go

    Hi Michael, The 917 drivers and fairways are currently being seeded on Tours around the world and once that process is completed, more information will be released through Team Titleist. Although, the first "in store" date is not until later this fall, we will start fitting for the 917 in September.

    I'd wait. Compare both and see which works best for you. If you still like the 915 you can pocket the savings on the "older" model.

    Curious if the new Mitsubishi Tensei CK white shaft will make it to the shaft options, they seem to be releasing around the same time?
