i bought a very rare set of tour issue Titleist 716 CB irons. These are from the tour department and do not have serial numbers. The set is 3-PW with Nippon Modus Tour 120 Stiff shafts. I bought the heads separate, the shafts and grips (4-PW Golf Pride Z grip) are used but in very good condition. The heads are in very good condition. Length and loft are standard, the lie might be a degree less than Titleist standard. Since the heads are made for tour players the feeling is amazing soft.

There is also written 'tungsten' across the toe on the p-8 not only 7-3 never seen this on pictures, is this real?

  2. @csonderman. I have never heard of tungsten being introduced into the p-8 iron in these clubs. I look forward to reading what others thoughts are.

The 716 CBs all have tungsten weighting co-forged in the heads in both the heel and the toe. This is nothing special for tour irons, it is in them all.
