I am following up my post from May 31st and I just wanted to say that the 716 AP1 irons are just soooo stupid. Stupid forgiving and stooooopid long. These are without a doubt the best all around irons I have ever had in the bag. I haven't had much time for rounds with my position at the golf course I am the Director of Golf but when I have played a few holes this year I just shake my head at the excellence of these irons. Oh... and working the ball is no issue either.

The bad news. Sorry Titleist... I'm not sure that I will be in a hurry to change these out in 2018. #bliss

  2. Alex, I also feel the AP1's 716 model are amazing, I guess it is a little like cheating! As you mentioned they are easy to hit, stay straighter off of mishits...and of course are fun to play with!

As a lower handicap player, I very much enjoy my AP2 irons however I love my 3 and 4 iron AP1's in the bag!

Totally agree, sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeet irons. Dropped two strokes off my handicap. Changed from 714AP2s XP95 S95 to the 716AP1s XP105 S300. I received a correct fitting from my buddy at Titleist, the first week the Thursday fittings were offered. New clubs were here two weeks later.

    Alex T,

Let's just keep this a secret about how crazy good the AP1s are! I agree with you 100%. There are actual people out there who think AP1s are only for high-handicappers. Little do they know how much they are missing low scores with these clubs. Yeah...and Alex...just keep this a secret also...OK? So don't tell them how these clubs can help them play scratch golf like I did last week with my clubs.

    Regards,
