    Has there been any statement made by Titleist with regard to backward shaft compatibility. I have a 910D3 and if I go to the 917 would love to use my old Fujikura shaft. Bob J

    I am tinkering with shafts in a 10.5 degree C16 prototype. I went straight to my Speeder 757 TS. I have found that the C16 is a very low spin/low launch head. So much so that the ball would fall out too quickly and at a steep angle. If you are a low spin player like me, we may have to look at the 917 D2 or a shaft change.
    That said, I have had great success with an AD DI and will be trying a Speeder PRO TS this weekend.
    The sound and feel of the C16 is absolutely incredible; it's addictive!
