  1. I was wondering if there is a way or a hack to get a more sprite setup for my driver/fairwy other than a longer shaft. “Back story” I have some pretty significant back issues and have a very steep swing. Play my iron at 3 deg upright. “Non back story” I’m in my early to more mid 40s and I don’t see me swing changing, old dogs and what not but still have pretty decent speed. Sand and Lob play at 2.5 deg upright. If it matters I also play my iron 2 deg weak.

Best to work with a pro fitter to specifically set up a driver to match the swing you are capable of. Since drivers don’t have turf interaction (at least not for me with positive results) the setup has more flexibility than you need with an iron.

Watching the LPGA events, many have the opposite problem with the toe too upright. But they do ok. Better to use a 44 inch driver than have an ideal lie at 41 inches.
