I suggest you look into the Oban shafts. They are the lowest spinning and launch shafts Titleist offers. I would get an X-stiff and tip it 1/2" inch to 1".

I didn't really notice the sound on the fairway wood or hybrids, but I did on the driver.  To me the sound of the driver is much more muted than other clubs.  It's not a bad thing, just different.  It's a pain when I have to pull out my ear plugs…
