    The advice I have received is that they can be hand-washed in warm soapy water.

    I  agree with you.  The implication is that all of the thousands of individuals who were fitted by a golf professional  and did not participate in a TPI course before hand were improperly fitted.  The most consistent thing I notice about TPI courses…
