Two memories come to me; my wife and I attended the US Open; her Father's Day gift to me. We had a wonderful time. Secondly watching my Sr. Member-Guest partner (who is 6'9") hit the longest drives you can imagine yet leaving a 3 ft putt 2 ft short…
Playing golf with my two sons and my youngest who is 15 outdrives me by 30 yards for the first time ever. His older brother who is 23 outdrives me by 60-80 yards adn I thought I hit it pretty good for a 57 year old (240-250)
1995, my son who was 11 years old at the time paid for us to travel to Squaw Valley G. C. and play for the day, a great memory because it his earned money.

Watching my wife's Hole in One on the par 3 # 17 at Nags Head Village in November. It was about 100+ yards uphill. Lost a bunch of balls up to that point on the links course with lots of water. The shot looked good but we could not find the ball on…
One of my favorite memories of 2011 was when I mis hit a 1st shot on a par 3 leaving it 20yards left of the green then telling my playing partner "I can still birdie this" then proceeded to knock it in with my sand wedge!
Favorite 2011 golf memory - watching my 14 year old son win his first golf tournament as well as the Fall series tour he played on.
Great article
my favorite memory in 2011 was my 81 from the back tees at my club championship. I lipped out on 16,17, and 18 but it was still the low gross score in my division that day.
