Breaking 80 was a fine moment this year!!!!!!

My favorite moment of 2011 was having my 15 year old son tell me he wanted me to put him together a set of clubs so he could take up golf again (played some between 5 and 10 years old).  He wants to practice so he can try out for his high school golf team…

My favorite golf memory was having two hole-in-ones within a seven day period.  Both were posted in the same edition of the Dallas Morning News.

My favorite memory in 2011 was shooting a 72 playing against 10 others in a regular Friday money game at my club in The Woodlands, TX.  Most of these guys are extremely good players, so to play well (and win some money) was exciting.  16 pars, 1 birdie…

Favorite golf memory this year; David Toms holing out #11 @ Colonial, and going on to win after the disappointing loss one week earlier to K.J. Choi @ the Players Championship.

After almost 25 years of only playing public courses, in 2011 I finally joined a private country club and, on the last round of the year, I shot my lowest score ever; 87!

Made a hole in one 167 yards on a down hill green/ elevated tee with a 9 iron using titlest pro v 1!
