My best memory is seeing a friend albatross the 527 yard par 5 number 8 at The Golf Club of Newport, and exaclty one week later my father hit a hole in one on the 132 yard number 7, also at Newport.  Unfortunately I am still without a hole in one.

my memory is my hole in one on sept 16 this year. I missed my putt with my cameron putter.(wait, I didnt have to putt.) LOL

The best memory of 2011 is getting to play a round of golf with my best friend before he died from cancer. We had the best time that day he was so glad to be out playing not caring how he hit the golfball

Seeing Rory McIlroy win at Congressional. Very impressive.

Seeing my cousin get his third ace.  He hit the shot, but it was my golf ball.  LOL  If I had known I would have given him the other sleeve that morning.

I Joined a private Golf Club for the first time in many years. A retirement gift to myself that I cherish and will continue to cherish for many a year.

Favorite memory of 2011 would be driving the closing 18th par four (10 feet below the hole to boot) over two bodies of water with my fav PRO V1x after two playing partners got wet and the 4th chickened out by laying up between the lakes.  Let the big dog…
