First hole in one after 14 years of play! (on a long par 3)

My favorite golf moment goes back to Titleist ambassador Rory Mcilroy winning the U.S. Open.  I saw all 4 round and was seeing history in the making.  He is a great player and my golf bag now matches his golf bag... just with my name on it   : )

I was fortunate enough to play the TPC Sawgrass Stadium course in 2011.  I didn't play that well, but I did walk away with a par on #17.  My favortite memory was watching my 8 iron shot land on that Island green about 20 ft from the hole. 2 putts later…

I holed out a wedge shot from about 60 yards with my 1997 Brad Faxon 56 degree wedge.. It has the best feel of any wedge I have ever played with.
