How do most PGA Tour players go about preparing for such a big event? Do routines change or do they just stay the same?

I'm using the new Velocity balls and really like them. Of course I prefer the double digit balls and think that '00' performs the best. Do the pros have their favorite number ball as well?

The Prov1 seems to fly better in colder weather and the Prov1x better in hot weather.  Why is this?
