Disappearing Ball

Resending Story as you did not acknowledge receiving it: 3rd year in golf, yet sufficiently hooked to play in February in New Jersey with 2 buddies. 7th hole 180 yard par 3 and I went to an almost never used 3 wood because my regular clubs were on route from Florida. HIgh hopes and low expectations, but the ball sailed beautifully to the green and disappeared. Longest walk of my life as we scanned the green for that elusive projectile, Mystery solved!
