More prone to "hosel rockets" or pulls before with too upright of a lie angle or too long of a shaft. I had also had issues with a 48-10F (46*) with an occasional shank or pulled shot. There was a period where I was doing very well with a 54-10S (52*). Played it as a gap wedge for 3 years. I played 695MB 7-P set 1/2" short and 1* upright. Now I remember the club length of the 54S was 35" Used to have a hard time with a 50 or 52 GW. Been doing well with 44F for some time now. I've been pretty comfortable using a 58-14K or 58-12D as a sand wedge since 2019. Even with 65* lie angle. Had the fitter check the lie angle of the 44F. 64*. Once I set the lie angle of the 52-12F to 64* no problem. I just recently went to 50-12F set to 48* and that is now my "PW". I shortened the lengths of the 56-08M and 56-12D to 35". One thing now is no issue with full swings. I use the M (55*) when I bring a 60-12D (59*) for course conditions. 56-12D (54*) is a good general purpose SW. 60-04T is my lob wedge.

Forum Post: Glow ball Event

Myself and two friends were playing in a glow ball tournament where the first nine is played in the daylight in the back is played at night with use of a light up ball. The tournament is played in teams of three with two teams playing in the same group to keep scores honest. We were playing at Blue Ridge country club in Galax, Virginia and were on hole number four. It was just starting to rain so we were all trying to hurry and tee off from the 150 yard par three I hit a shot going directly at the pin. The green is on a slight hill, so we see the ball land and bounce, and it looks as though it went off the back of the green. Once we got to the green, I began to search behind the green in the rough area, but was unable to find the ball. One of the guys from the other group asked if I had checked the hole and said no I had not, mainly because I didn’t believe that it was gonna happen. One of my longtime buddies and teammates, walked past the hole and hit a grin that told me he was either pranking me good (which wouldn’t be the first time) or he was dead serious. It began to pour the rain and he was jumping up yelling, saying to come look at the hole. I still did not believe him, and it took at least two minutes for me to look into the hole. Once I did, we were both running. We ended up winning the entire tournament with the score of 64. It was amazing to have my friends there to witness that moment. www.titleist.com/.../ayixosagq0y727m5ig56

Forum Post: First ever hole in one!

I got my first ever hole in one at my club during our Member Member tournament! Love it. I can open that thing up so flat, I can easily flop off fairway lies. I strictly use it as an oh shi...!! club. Anything from 60 and out, I'll use my 54.10S, and 50-30yds is my 60. 60-50 is 54 or 60 depending on what I'm feeling at the time. I used to use 60 at 40 and 54 at 50yds but I started hitting my wedges longer a year ago, and a 50yd with my 54 is harder to control now, since I'm only taking the club back to like 8 o'clock. Mostly chip with the 54 straight up, and only chip with the 60 if I need it to land softer and open up more than 54. Other than that it's the club if I have to get it up and over something and land and stop on a time. The T Grind allows me to do that from any lie on the golf course.
For me S grind is very limited. It's great for pitch shots and chipping but leaves a lot to be desired in sand. Doesn't lend itself too well for flop shots. For what it's worth, I have a pic of the 60-12D and 60-04T alongside. They perform equally well in soft sand and most pitching. Where T grind wins out is a severe downhill lie on hard pan.... picks the ball better. Not a tremendous difference between 56-08 M (55*) and 56-12D (54*). I use the M and 60-12D in place of 56-12D (54*) for unknown course conditions.

Forum Post: RE: Whats your favorite grind on your 60?
I used to love my M grind, especially because I liked being able to open the face around the greens.
