Length of wedges

So my Titleist T250 set is 1/2" long and 2 degrees flat. 43 degree pitching wedge is 36.25". My wedges are 48, 53, 58. Do you all just extend those 1/2" as well or do you play them all at the same length as your pitching wedge. I have read all sorts of variations. Also I assume your wedges should be 2 degrees flat as well?

Disappointed in grip change.

Titleist, What is this garbage?... It's cheapier than stuff bought off Amazon... Tour Velvet 360 cost $7 retail... You increased the wedges to $200... And now I have to buy $7 grip on top of that?...

This is not TV, any grip for any manufacturer all say Golf Pride on the bottom. I've used nothing but Tour Velvet and Tour Velvet 360 standard for the entire 6 years I've been golfing. This feels nothing like it. The feel is totally cheapy, the rubber is thin and very soft and elastic. The Titlist stamping looks like a Temu knock off... I think a Temu knock off would be better. I've bought an 8pk of cheap amazon grips for $13 for a friend starting to golf, and those grips were 10x better quality than this dissappointment on my brand new Vokey.

Amazing job by John in identifying the best lofts, grinds and shaft. Big improvement from the existing setup. Can’t wait to get these back and in play.

V grind 64

I’ve been on the hunt to replace the C-C 64-07 for years and think I finally discovered what it might be. All the info so could find from back then led me to believe it was a T grind. After trying all the variations of the T grind and grinding some myself I finally had the chance to get a V grind. The only way to get one is through a fitter as they haven’t been available left handed on Wedgeworks. This is the most trusted wedge I’ve ever had and think I finally found a replacement. If you haven’t played the V grind and are looking for something you can completely open up around the greens and still play a full shot with a steep swing this is the money maker you need! Hopefully this stays in the line up and becomes more accessible to lefties in Canada. What a wedge!

I am a 10 handicap at the age of 15 and i am looking for wedges. I have some older volkey wedges and i love them but i am getting a whole new set of titlest clubs and i just need some guidance.

A+ Grind

Just an update on my prior post on the SM11 A+ grind. It arrived on Friday and I put it into play this weekend. All I can say is WOW! Don’t remember purchasing a club that had more of an impact on my game than this one. Opted for 58.08 version. Felt great in my hands the minute I picked it up. Confidence is way up. I got up and down for 4 straight holes leading one of my playing partners to quip “the way you’re pitching and chipping you”better off missing greens “. Thanks Titleist and Bob Vokey.

Modus 105 Players - what wedge shaft?

I have recently been fitted into t250 5+6, t150 7 to 48 in the Modus 105 reg. Previously I gamed T200 AMT Black which made transition to s200 shafts in Vokey less of a jump. I have the 52 in the Modus as it is a full shot club. What are people using in 56/58/60? Modus wedge shaft doesn’t seem to be a CF option….

SM11 Oil Can Durability?

For those of you gaming the SM11 in the oil can finish, what has your experience been with regard to the finish’s durability? I’ve currently got the nickel finish SM11’s in my bag, and that finish has held up well. But I’m now considering the T-series irons in oil can, and I’ve got concerns that the oil can will wear off quickly. TIA!

Finally decided to purchase a new wedge to replace an old beat up 60M grind that served me well. I chose a Wedgeworks 58.08 A+grind in a raw finish. Spent a few extra bucks to get the grandkids initials on it not sure of the wait time but I’m guessing 4-6 weeks. Can’t wait to put it in the bag

Blind fittings at courses

Does anyone have any experience/know if Titleist fitters, when doing a fitting event at a course, will do the blind wedge fitting like they do at a normal fitting? Would love to do one as I enjoyed my woods and irons fitting so much and worked out so well. Just can't justify the 8 hour round trip just for a wedge fitting. Maybe if they did Scotty fittings I could make it work lol.

I went to a SM10 wedge fitting before I purchased my currently setup of a 52-F8 and 56-S10. Would it be ok to go the with same setup with SM11 wedges without going to another fitting?

Oil Can 58.04T in the bunkers

I have recently purchased a nice SM 10 Oil Can 58.04T grind and I love it around the greens (tight lies especially) but I'm experiencing difficulties in the bunkers. I feel like the club digs too much in the sand (lack of bounce obviously) and that my shots end up being too short (too much sand taken). I used to have a 58 soft K grind (06 bounce) and it worked fine in the sand (at least at my level... I'm a 5 handicap) Should I change something in my approach (less open face) ? Has anyone else experienced this problem as well ? Is this grind not made for (powdery) bunkers at all ? Thanks for your insight !

I saw a picture of a 46 black vapor. Not sure if it was real or a custom version. I’ve never seen the 46 as an option for the blacked out wedges. Any thoughts?

My First "Custom" Wedge

Afternoon TT Folks - super excited as i have previously purchased off the rack however my first "custom" or built to my preferences wedge is in transit, ordered an SM11 54 in raw finish...added the flight lines to give them a try.

Understanding there are several previous threads on the Raw finish topic and many opinions out there, my preference would be to let the face/grooves weather naturally but keep the back of the wedge looking clean.

Wanted to poll the TT group for any suggestions/opinions of an oil or really any material to keep the back looking relatively or rust free.

When to replace your wedges?

I played 65rounds of golf last year, I rock a 52 and 58 wedge not counting a PW GW. I've notice the spin dropping off on my 52 according to trackman im averaging about 7087 of spin. Should I replace that wedge?

Everyone .Happy New Year. Has anyone played the Vokey A+ grind? I currently play a 60 m grind. Thinking of a new bunker club and the A+ looks intriguing.

I know the best way to choose is to get fitted but am curious if anyone has any thoughts

Graphite shafts in wedges
