Doing it like a book is a great analogy to your set up! Driver on the side is something I have not thought of, but can see how it may be easier to take in and out. I will try that during my next round!

Hanging the towel on the putter seems like a good move, I'm sure you could wrap it around some of your wedges/iron club faces to eliminate some noise as well. I like how compact the Players 4 is as well. I am aiming to walk and carry more versus walking and pushing, so I have loved the players 4 in the few rounds I have walked with it so far! Enjoy the search for a new bag and may it bring many fairways and greens!

I have the SC Pathfinder, which has four compartments as well-

top compartment is a club head cover convention
Driver, 3 wood, 5 wood Putter and Alignment sticks (gets a little crowded)

Middle Left
4 hybrid, 5 iron and 6 iron

Middle right
7 iron, 8 iron and 9 iron

Bottom
PW, Gap, 54 and 60

That's a great point! I'll have to try that setup. I like the idea of 5 short clubs on the bottom, I will definitely try that out! I'm always trying to find ways to minimize the club chatter when I walk, so I appreciate that tip!

i rotate in and out, but mostly its Driver and 3 and 4 hybrids up top, with the putter, 4,5,6 one side, 7,8,9 other side and 3 wedges underneath!.

That’s exactly my setup, Driver/3w/5w/putter up top, 7w/5i/6i on one side, 7i/8i/9i on the other side, and PW/GW/52/56 on the bottom.

Very similar set up as most probable will have. TSi2 Driver and TS3 hybrid with Scotty up top. TS100s irons left and right split evenly, Vokey wedges below with the TT putting disc displayed on the handle up front!

I do it like reading a book...shortest club starts at bottom and goes one row then back over to next row and so on and so forth ..... I like the Driver on the side not the middle back since it is easier to take out and put in frequently.

Similar; driver, putter and 2 fairway woods up top; hybrid ,5 and 6 iron on one side; 7-8-9 on the other; wedges at the bottom.

Yup, mine is similar to yours as well.
Driver, 3w, 5w, and 4i up top.
Long irons on right, short on left.
Wedges GW, 54, 58, and putter at the bottom.
I like the putter next to wedges and I hang the towel on the putter so I can grab them all together when I get around the greens.
My bag is fading- it’s in black- I may be shopping for another Plyers4, soon. I just like that it’s compact even when I put 3 tapes on regular grips. I walk most the time so it can be tight, but if you’ve had this bag a while, you’ll know how to make it work. On cart is no problem- they’re all upright and it has plenty of room.

I have Driver, 3W, and Putter in top, then 3,4,5 in right side, 6,7,8 in the left side, and then 9, PW, and wedges in the bottom... it's been the best setup that I've used.

My setup is very similar to yours. To be more specific, 3 clubs on top slot, 2 clubs in either of the middle slots with the one slot closest to my back when carrying holding the 2 shorter clubs. For the bottom slot, I have 5 clubs which are my wedges and a couple of short irons. This works very well for me since I often walk and carry and I find this way of organizing minimizes club chatter.

When I use my Players 4 pretty much same but 14 clubs were tough to remove so went to Hybrid 5. Much better

Very similar. My hybrid is with Driver and 3w
