I went into the fitting with a null hypothesis. It took about 45 minutes but we finally got enough distinction to justify the TS-1. Included putting the 45 g shaft on the TS-2 as well as the 55 g shaft on the TS-1. It was 2 mph ball speed and a different feel to swing. At age 70 and low-mid 80's swing speed, the TS-1 will only get better with (my) age. Or for anyone else on the low end of the speed spectrum. My only complaint was being LH, I didn't have an option to try an 11.5 or 12 degree head.

RE: TS1 vs. TS2

Not necessarily, the factory specs for a TS1 are lighter all around, including the grip option, if you need to increase height and spin and have a slower than average swing speed go with TS1. If you have a quick swing, but need the height, try the TS1 with the Kurokage stiff.

RE: TS1 vs. TS2
Just wondering how much difference in the TS1 head and the TS2? If you put a 40 gram shaft in the TS2 would you basically have a TS1?
Greg you would likely also have to put a lighter weight in the TS2 head as well. Between that and the lighter shaft you could probably get close however the TS1 also has a lighter grip and I believe has a longer playing length.
