If you want to use the garage for practice with the Garmin, you can order the RCT balls direct from Titleist. Even without the RCT balls, the Garmin and fresh Titleist balls will be more accurate than a range with well worn 2 piece rocks.

It seems like flight time is the most important thing no matter the ball. I have a similar problem using regular proV1s inside. When I take my Garmin r10 to the range it has no problem giving me a similar ball flight to what it looks like in real life even when hitting a nasty slice. If you can get more room for ball flight. I haven't tried any of the RCT balls. I have had a hard time finding them but probably would not hurt to use them.

Providing an update after several R10 sessions: RCT balls provide much more accurate spin data, whereas the "estimated" spin rates that the R10 extrapolates are usually 1,000 to 1,500 RPM high, impacting rollout distance. The carry distances are still roughly the same, but I've alleviated that condition by moving the net back a few more feet. Indoor distances are still about 10-15% lower than outdoors, but I'll just have to adjust to that since my garage space is maxed out. I will say that I do enjoy practicing indoors with the ProV1 as it's my current ball on the course, I'm getting lots of reps and ingraining the feel - practice how you play!

If the monitor doesn’t utilize the RCT technology, just use the standard ball of choice. Check with the manufacturer if they have plans to incorporate the technology. In case the Titleist list is a little out of date.

I'm considering getting a UNEEKOR EYE XO. That monitor isn't listed as validated with the RCT. It reportedly works with non-marked balls. Wondering if I would need the RCT or if the regular PRO V1X will work.

We were using prov1 rct and compared to prov1 with stickers were getting similar results on garmin r10, when compared to prov1 without stickers the accuracy on distance was improved. Still short of what my ego thinks I hit though.

If you go under golf balls, and select show all, the RCT balls are listed there.

The Garmin Approach R10 is listed. You may need to check if your unit is set or if you need a firmware update.

All monitors provide extrapolations of the flight. The more distance, the more reliable the data. The RCT is an upgrade from putting silver dots on balls when the device can detect the RCT technology. I don’t know how it compares with distance but the spin rate is more accurate. That said, that impacts down range height and descent so the distance should be enhanced as well.
